The "Element" bookcase is made entirely of wood. The structure consists of a single element, a 3cm x 3cm profile, cut into different sizes and then reassembled. This intricate but regular puzzle forms a complex structural system. The interlocking pieces form a series of shelves interrupted by vertical uprights that mark and separate the books. An independent categorization system is thus built, divided into modules. Once full, the bookcase almost disappears and leaves the appearance of seamless rows of bookshelves allowing only a glimpse of the structural elements that maintain order.
